Is this an official term? Sauce? --ஸ Kyoshi 20:23, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
- In this interview Pounce wasn't named, just referred as leap attack. 82.131.239.59 20:32, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
- I'm not sure that all the skills listed here are actually "leap attacks", if that even is an official term. --Vassar 06:04, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
Elementalist[edit]
- Shouldn't we include the Elementalist Conjured Weapon leap skills in here too (Lightning Leap & Flame Leap, from Conjure Lightning Hammer & Conjure Flame Axe respectively)? Just in-case there is any players looking up the Leap article to find a leap skill that their class has access too?
- Also, feel sorry for Necromancers, do they really not have one at all? 82.11.226.30 22:44, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
Heart of Thorns classes[edit]
Should there be a weapon-skills section for the skills added for the new class specializations in Heart of Thorns, like Vault for Daredevils? Cynique (talk) 08:08, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
- There are also the new daredevil traits, but I don't know if those add a "leap" mechanic as described in this article. G R E E N E R 07:53, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- Hard to say: I haven't developed my Daredevil far enough to say. The initial question arose from my use of a Daredevil for Not So Secret, where Vault makes certain parts much easier. Cynique (talk) 09:53, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- The Daredevil traits do not act as leaps in the sense of this article. Using them moves you along the ground in the same manner as a dodge, despite their animations, and can't be used to bypass gaps or obstacles (not that they'd be any good at that) --Gimmethegepgun (talk) 15:09, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
Precise Leap[edit]
Is there any page that shows which of the leaps allow a precise leap to a targeted spot, rather than a somewhat directed jump? Items such as
- Experimental Rifle Skill 2, Shadow Leap (Item sold by Agent Livilla)
- Engineer's Rifle Skill 5, Jump Shot
It might be worth a table breaking down range, targeted (or not) & whether it is sometimes limited by "no path to target" Separ (talk) 19:10, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
