Should we make a page called "Leather Bag" and have it indicate that it increases your total inventory space by 20 slots? (Usaf1a8xx 18:45, 22 August 2010 (UTC))
- yes--Knighthonor 05:05, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
- lol you are a tad late Knight. Within a couple of hrs of my poston the 22nd, someone made the page. (Usaf1a8xx 14:53, 25 August 2010 (UTC))
Should we include that the max amount of inventory slots is 100? - Infinite - talk 06:18, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
- That could be just the amount of combined inventory space the bags currently equipped give, and as we dont know if there is bigger bags, I'd leave it as it is.--Tuomir 21:25, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
- I do remember some dev talking about inventory space on the cons, though I don't remember what was said other than that the charr characters had as much inventory space as they could have. I guess it still doesn't prove anything, though, as they weren't max level. Also, that dialogue was on some footage that is long-forgotten by now. - Infinite - talk 21:39, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
- Isn't the Starter Backpack now 24 slots? And I *thought* I saw a gw2 crafting site that had recipes for 20 slots bags? Frostty1 16:33, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

Any info about storage chest?[edit]
Like the Xunlai chests. It would be useful to give items to other characters in your account (you can always use some help from a friend, but is easier with a chest), if you have 4 character slots you can make each character expert on 2 crafting disciplines and trade the crafted items between your account characters using a chest so you techincally have the 8 expertises at the same time. - Account wide storage was confirmed a long time ago, and in an interview released today Eric Flannum said that you will be able to craft more bags, and bags will hold more. - Giant Nuker 17:09, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
Engineer with Universal tool option get other starting bagpack[edit]
If you choose universal tool in your bio as engineer you get a better bag, I just forgot the exact name —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 193.190.253.147 (talk • contribs) at 8:28, 1 May 2012 (UTC).
- Universal Multitool Pack is what the engineer gets. — Mar Master 18:37, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
Remove a bag/box?[edit]
How do you remove a bag or box? I can't figure this out and I've got little 4 slot bags preventing me from increasing my inventory. -- Kirbman 06:01, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
- Nevermind, the left tabs of my inventory were just far enough off the screen that I didn't realize that they exist. -- Kirbman 06:08, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
Invisible bags and show/hide bags[edit]
I'm not sure what's unknown about how invisible bags behave when 'hide bags' is enabled, but here's what I know: The slots don't disappear, and they take their place in the inventory grid like all other bags do. Having an 8-slot invisible bag in your last bag slot means that the last 8 inventory slots you see when bags are hidden will have the invisible behaviour. If anyone wants to reword that appropriately for an encyclopedia go ahead, although it would probably just be bloat... invisible bags work just the same as the other special bag types. 218.250.48.144 07:34, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
How do you split the stack of an item?[edit]
If I want to mail just one of something to a friend rather that all of a material? Adeira Tasharo 17:55, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
- Found the answer by asking in Main Chat - Alt-click and drag to an open inventory space to split a stack. Adeira Tasharo 18:07, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
Deposit all Collectables[edit]
Is this feature suppose to work anywhere? Kind of makes 20 slot bags unnecessary unless you are keeping every non-collectable item that you pick up. One of the main reasons to go back to a town/outpost in GW1 with a Xunlai chest was to empty your backpack. Now, you can transfer collectable items to your Bank from anywhere with this feature, and find an NPC with Merchant abilities anywhere - to sell those things you don't wish to keep - or sell them through the Black Lion Trading Company. --CraigDC42 04:33, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
gems[edit]
The amount of gems is now shown left of the karma amount. Neat. That way we wont forget to spend some. Lol. TulipVorlax 14:08, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
Destroy Item Type-In-Name Confirmation Shortcut[edit]
A few items require that their name be typed in (case sensitive) to confirm destruction. A way to make this easier is to Shift-Left-Click on the item (which puts the text in brackets in your chat window. You can then copy it to the clipboard (using Ctrl+C) and when the destroy option requires you to type in the name, you can paste the text in (Ctrl+V), edit out the square brackets (Backspace, Home, Delete) and click OK to destroy the item. Examples of Search terms[edit]
While it may not be self-evident to a lot of readers/players, I am thinking it would beneficial to include a small list example of search terms, like trophy, transmute, and consumable. Dbaggins (talk) 19:16, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
