Harry Potter Reference?[edit]
self explainatory, chamber of secrets —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.223.168.50 (talk • contribs).
- I'm a fan of the series myself, but I'm not exactly getting the reference, though looking at it, I'm thinking something Lunaish. Perhaps a bit more explanation (^_^)? —Jyavoc 08:10, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
sory i was very undescriptive, in the movie when the imps are flying around all crazy and what not herminy or w.e shoted immobulus to make them freeze or go immobile66.223.168.50 10:36, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- I looked it up, and it is a spell, the Freezing Charm in English (ref: http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Freezing_Charm). So the name is definitely similar. But I'm not finding any correlation other than the name. If we can find some relation between the two deeper than just the name (or, conversely, if other users think just the name is enough to merit a reference), I'm game for letting it go on the page. Just right now, it looks a bit tenuous to me. —Jyavoc 17:31, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Though I will say, in favor of it, the developers went over the top with designing the scepter to look like a magician's wand. Not a Harry Potter wand, but a magician's wand all the same. And a scepter is the GW2 version of a magician's wand. I'm not convinced, but I did want to put this here. —Jyavoc 17:33, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
