I know that this page hasn't been posted on for 6 months, and that the skill is pretty old, but I'm surprised no one has said this...

Honestly...[edit]
I wish rangers had more skills like this instead of the current pets. It would be awesome to have 15-25 animal skills like this, where the ranger could select 3-4 to take into battle as profession specific skills. When activated the animal would help in battle for 10-15 seconds and have a 2 minute recharge. Sort of like the vanguard assassin from gw1...but with animals. They optional animals could even vary depending on the environment...so instead of having 1 pet at all times, you can call in a few animals from the surrounding area. You could call them in one at a time, or all at once. The long recharge would keep them from being OP and you wouldn't have to worry about keeping them alive. Snakes could poison, birds could blind, dogs could bit/cripple... --Moto Saxon 18:01, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
- You are aware that the current list of 12 utility skills isn't complete. I understand that this is just a wish that you want everyone to hear, but perhaps patience for the full list would be a good idea. Venom20 18:20, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
Vs larger than normal mobs[edit]
Used this against the Champion Wasp Queen, who I'm guessing is just a scaled up version of the smaller wasps running about, and was amused to find that the Hawks summoned by this skill were also scaled up to the same degree, looking more like giant Eagles when attacking.Magua 15:48, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
Synergy with Rampage as One[edit]
After some time trying to figure out why this skill hasn't been buffed considering it's low damage and high recharge, I learned that each hit counts as an attack for Rampage as One, providing an easy way to build up at least 16 stacks of might on your pet. It may be worth adding this as a note, since this effect is most likely what it is balanced around.152.7.16.116 03:04, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
