As of the June 23rd update does this work in conjunction with restorative mantras? Imagine it aoe healing around you for every mantra you charge or use..
It doesn't, since it turns out Restorative Mantras doesn't heal the mesmer using it, just their allies.--Silenceaux (talk) 00:16, 26 June 2015 (UTC)- Or maybe it does? They may have changed Restorative Mantras, since I was quite certain it wasn't healing me when I was using it. But now it procs healing prism correctly. --Silenceaux (talk) 17:07, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
Does this affect the user, or only other allies? --Felbryn (talk) 23:19, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
- "...are also healed" which would mean both. —Ventriloquist 09:48, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
- That language doesn't imply that, and the answer is no, it doesn't heal yourself --Gimmethegepgun (talk) 11:27, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
- I believe the "also" there means "in addition to the initial healing effect that triggered this trait", so it doesn't indicate either way. I am slightly mystified that Guild Wars 1 did a great job of rigorously indicating which affects could target the user and which couldn't ("ally" vs "other ally") but that Guild Wars 2 has chosen not to continue doing that. --Felbryn (talk) 17:02, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
- Ah, yes, you're both right! Also, I agree with you Felbryn. We get a lot of skill and trait related questions due to the tooltips not being overly clear. —Ventriloquist 18:51, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
