When gathered, a devourer may spawn that can drop an additional hatched chili. --73.89.22.235 22:48, 19 September 2019 (UTC)

There are 2 kinds of nodes . One kind is near a Nest and 2 Arid Devourers will spawn in the direction of that player from the nest. These cant drop anything . Then there are nodes wich doesnt have any Nest near them wich has % chance to drop normal Devourer wich always drops 1 aditional Chili. But the chance to get this Devourer to spawn is around 25% or less.

Home Instance

After gathering home node 50 times and noting results here is what I got. 28 times (56%) I received one chili and 22 times (44%) I foraged two chilies; on top of that 12 times (24%) I gathered an extra drop. Among those extra drops 9 times (75%) I had three chilies and 3 times (25%) I found four chilies. --Nasurelin (talk) 23:23, 12 December 2019 (UTC)

A regular drop of 1-2 plus a chance at 3-4 seems off. Today I received 3 then 1, 2 and no 2nd drop, 1 Ruined Plant Fiber and no 2nd drop, 1 Ruined Plant Fiber and no 2nd drop Adeira Tasharo (talk) 20:05, 12 April 2022 (UTC).
