Talk:Guaranteed Weapon Unlock

Should we list the date updated? @_@

Since this updates periodically, (i'm trying to update with the current preview and it seems there are a lot of changes) do we just update the article every time the guaranteed weapon unlock changes or list it somewhere or what? Honestly I'm not sure if these were just rare updates and it's just because it's some years later that it's all different from before or whether it's a periodic rotation thing.

We could list the update dates under the Notes, should be somewhat easily verified based on the page history/reddit posts. We already list the update dates for example on the BL Exclusives page. EDIT: Nvm I thought it lists the update date the same way normal Guaranteed unlock does, so fishing for dates here would be harder, but if someone can find them why not. ~Sime 16:09, 30 January 2022 (UTC)

There's a lot of things that don't exist in the preview anymore

So a lot of the weapons that are supposed to be unlocked don't show up in the preview anymore as of 1/30/2022. I'm basing my edits on the preview of "guaranteed weapon unlock", but is there any other place that it should be verified more accurately? I just wanted to make sure before removing stuff. You can always preview it on a new account where you have only like 4 skins unlocked. If you have already unlocked something it does not show, obviously. ~Sime 16:09, 30 January 2022 (UTC)

Should the single weapons be organized similarly to the weaponsets...?=

just wondering. there are single-non-set weapons in here that appear to be part of a discontinued event, such as Skritt_Swarmmind_Scepter_Skin. It feels a bit weird that the organization is not really consistent, i figure at the start maybe it's coz there would be too many categories? Also wondering out of curiosity if the PoF or HoT single-weapons will be excluded from those who own the base game once using these items if they exist. In case the PoF marker was not for just whomever has the Expac,

I just figured that the titles were for how they are acquired normally , since dungeons are separated out and added a new one but if it's more for the expacs should i change it to under PoF? For reference for myself and others if need updates, the Icebrood Saga single-weapon-skins added and not under the category were: Skritt Swarmind skin Cloudsareyum (talk) 13:04, 30 January 2022 (UTC)

API key filtering?

Would it be possible to add the ability to filter out already-acquired skins for this page, the Guaranteed Armor Unlock, and/or the Guaranteed Wardrobe Unlock items? It would be very useful for checking prices and alternate acquisition methods of things you've yet to unlock. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.136.14.19 (talk).

The {{unlocks skin}} and {{unlocks skin set}} templates have been designed in their original way for good reason, namely to handle as much as possible by using minimal code and avoiding unnecessary template calls (e.g. not calling {{item icon}}). Thus, replacing the result formats with {{Contains/account unlocks result format}} is not beneficial as you have seen here (causing template timeout I assume), I reverted it to the old result formats while keeping the {{account unlocks header}} functionality. It should work now, I'm getting "Post-expand include size 1,752,558/2,097,152 bytes", close but it works. --Tolkyria (talk) 08:46, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
