Talk:Glyph of Elemental Harmony
Am I the only one who thinks this and glyph of healing are the same skill? Elemental harmony seems straightforward enough that having both would be redundant.99.1.41.126 23:11, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
- It sounds that way to me, but we would need confirmation. - Giant Nuker 23:26, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
- I don't see how they are the same. GoEHarmony gives the user a boon and heals, while GoHealing just heals (undoubtedly for more health and/or less energy/recharge cost). –~=Ϛρѧякγ (τѧιк) ←♥– 00:09, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
- i dont know, we haven't exactly seen glyph of healing in action, and i agree this is a very 'straightforward healing' skill, so i think that this IS glyph of healing renamed. either way i don't think we sould change anything till we can proove glyph of healing is not in gw2.Akbaroth 13:25, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

Move[edit]
I agree with the move; the color scheme was changed but the "rune" in the middle has stayed the same. Aqua (T|C) 21:30, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
- I was unsure if it was too premature since it only showed up on that sheet of icons like this. Venom20 21:34, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, but given all of the things, the color scheme change of healing skills to blue scale, the same rune, pretty much the same name. It all adds up to move worthy. Aqua (T|C) 00:41, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
- I'm not sure that a sheet which mispells glyph several times and typos elemental can be used to correct the name of a skill... so atm i'm against the move 80.229.225.236 oops, didn't log in, and missed a tilde. was me though Thering 00:55, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
- I disagree with the move. This was seen like this in the most recent demo, I'd rather give that precedence over the icon sheet. -- aspectacle 01:31, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
- At the very least can we update the icon? Aqua (T|C) 02:40, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
- Only if it was blue in the demo. I know the blue would be more consistent as a healing skill, but it isn't our problem to fix if it wasn't. -- aspectacle 07:03, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

(Reset indent) It's the same rune. The same shape. Comparatively the same name. The color shift has happened for other healing skills as well. I have strong doubts that ArenaNet whould have two skills that are so similar in appearance and name... Do you believe that the blue skill icon is Glyph of Harmony while the "normal" is Glyph of Elemental Harmony? Also, the last demo (Afaik) was PAX East, which was March 11. These were posted on March 22nd, so technically speaking, this represents a more current version of the game...Aqua (T|C) 13:52, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
- While I do agree that moving the article is slightly premature, I do agree with replacing the image. This image is clearly just a recoloured image of the old image. Since it is a healing glyph, it make more sense to use it as a blue one since that is the current colour scheme. Venom20 14:24, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
- I've never disputed the fact they're the same icon but recoloured. As I said above I think it is important we document what we see in the demo/game. Plus we cannot know when the icon sheet was completed only when it was uploaded. I am happy to accept there is a gap between the demo, what we've documented and what could be the game. If the icon is the right one then we will be able to use it eventually.
- Are you also going to make a case for the rotated Conjure Frost icon? I see the situation as exactly the same. -- aspectacle 23:47, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
- The main difference between the old conjure frost icon and the new conjure frost icon is that they are different icons (not just rotated). Take a look at the fingers, it's easy to see they are different. These two present icons are the same. Venom20 00:05, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- Did anyone ever find the source of that icon. I was very suspicious about someone just recoloring it and then uploading and claiming it was the new icon. Aqua (T|C) 01:27, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
- Within the first few seconds on this youtube video from PAX east. You can see the not blue elemental harmony icon and the conjure frost icon in the rotation and colour we've documented here on the wiki. -- aspectacle 01:34, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

scribe trait[edit]
Scribe says UTILITY glyphs - that doesn't mean healing (or elite), does it... That shouldn't be there, right? ~~ Kiomadoushi 22:25, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
- You're right - I've cleared the traits section. Ashfall 15:50, 11 September 2011 (UTC)

All forms of this skill have a 0.5 second cast time underwater. --TheDetective13 (talk) 08:18, 6 July 2023 (UTC)
