About revert[edit]

So, why was my edit reverted? The contents didn't belong to this page because the date was wrong. At the time I'm writing this it's still March 2nd even for USA. The original post on forum was made on March 2nd. I just didn't request a deletion because I guessed there might be some patch tomorrow (March 3rd) and would request a deletion if not. I moved all the contents here to Game updates/2022-03-02 where it belongs. I felt like undoing it but I don't want to get into a revert war. --Txonä Atan - (talk) 03:47, 3 March 2022 (UTC)

Ok, I went ahead and put a proper content now. I guess it looked like vandalism maybe. The contents had already been moved and they looked duplicated now (and messed with includes). I'll request a deletion if no updates come for this date. --Txonä Atan - (talk) 04:06, 3 March 2022 (UTC) - P.S.: I just noticed the note I put in the reason for the original edit wasn't saved at all O.o

Game updates are using UTC dates according to Talk:Game updates#Are game updates tagged to UTC?. The forum post says: 8 hours ago, ignore my time-related stuff (I'm UTC+1), focus on "2022-03-03T00:55:04Z" where Z stands for UTC. This means it should be on this page rather than the March 2nd. --Tolkyria (talk) 09:16, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
Ah my bad, I didn't know that. Maybe it would be good to have that info in some more visible place. I assumed it was based on the local time for Anet, but that makes sense. Sorry, I panicked with the sudden revert and duplicated content as result. :D --Txonä Atan - (talk) 11:35, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
