In one of the updates after the main one, the Magic Find Booster from Laurel Vendors was changed into a masterwork Item Booster, including items already purchased. (item itself changed) --— Cronos 00:59, 25 January 2019 (UTC)

Such change isn't recent then not related with this patch. Per example, the Template:Inventory/laurel_merchant (used to show the table in Laurel Merchant) was last updated on Nov, 10, 2018 and already lists Item Booster instead Magic Find Booster. Weird. I wanted to maximize magic find, so I bought a couple dozen of the old Magic Find Boosters (non-laurel) with laurels so I could get two separate, stacking buffs. Now they're Item Boosters. But ArenaNet normally doesn't change old boosters into new ones, so maybe I'm just seeing things. Thanks for confirming! --— Cronos 00:11, 26 January 2019 (UTC)

Yep, they didn't replaced it, just "deprecated" it. Magic Find boosters as well a few others just became unobtainable although it still works for those who have them, just the sources got it replaced (like the Laurel vendor).
