Bandwidth considerations[edit]
Know what makes me laugh? Anet was so worried about their bandwidth usage that they had that server side culling which allowed for zergs and all sorts of unfun things in WvW, yet every time they have an update, even something that fixes minor issues such as a server crash issue, it's always 50MB or larger. So which uses more bandwidth, WvW, or a million people downloading 50MB of data? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.73.103.51 (talk).
- They're not worried about their bandwidth. Culling was in consideration for your bandwidth, so that the game wouldn't require a T1 connection to play (/hyperbole). —Dr Ishmael 13:06, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
Warrior Banner AoE Rings[edit]
Has anyone else been noticing AoE rings for Warrior banners since the update? Is this an undocumented update? --Fbody 17:32, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
- Yep. Vahkris 21:37, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
New waypoint[edit]
A new waypoint has been added in Snowden Drifts, it's called Angvar's Trove Waypoint it's in the top left of the map and it is actually contested. It is also near a closed gate. --2.234.98.90 18:10, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
- Probably a new Guild Puzzle, will go and check when i log on, which is soon. --46.11.116.195 18:50, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
- The first time I saw that I though that would be one of the entrances to future areas like the one at the north of Brisban and the one in Fields of Ruin, since it's right on the border, but the waypoint is contested and too close to another waypoint, so it's most likely a guild puzzle in progress. - Unlike Proxemics Lab and Langmar Estate, this one does not have an associated area, it's just a waypoint (it also has "Waypoint" in the name, unlike the waypoints for those two). It also doesn't have the Guild Puzzle interaction point outside the gate. Either the puzzle isn't fully implemented yet, or this is something different. —Dr Ishmael 05:43, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
