"Gallery of mounts" or "Gallery of mount skins"?

I prefer the latter, actually. I think it would be better if this page were called "Gallery of mount skins", and it were moved to the "Mount skins" category. What do you all think? Erasculio 17:16, 18 November 2017 (UTC)

You need to show the mounts with a side-view as well as frontal view. Not much to show from the front view.

This article should also state the number of dye channels for each mount skin

Since the ingame H interface doesn't allow us to preview both un-owned mount skins together with their dye channels.
I'm basically just looking for a pack of 5 mounts that each have all the 4 dye channels, and I haven't been able to find comprehensive information regarding this. --175.156.243.239 20:13, 22 December 2017 (UTC)

If you check the page for each of the skins some include how many dye channels there are in the notes. We’re relying on players to update that info since there is no other way to know without owning the mount so all the information may not be there yet. J.Tesla (talk) 20:27, 22 December 2017 (UTC)

Ok, checked all the skins - basic have 1 dye channel, Bright Ringfin + River Moth Wing + Oasis Skate + Spined Longtail have 3 dye channels, the rest of skins have 4 (holiday skins included). All noted on their respective pages. Sime (talk) 21:09, 22 December 2017 (UTC)

Regarding new images

Some of the Desert Racer mount skins are missing from this page. I've added images of many of them to the wiki files, but the format of the gallery page is confusing to me, so I'm unable to edit it myself. I've put the files under names like "Dune_Mastiff-Skin.jpg" on the wiki and they're visible on their respective pages, but I'm not sure how to add them to the gallery here. I figured it'd be good to point them out here rather than waiting for someone to stumble upon them. Ihavethecat (talk) 13:14, 5 August 2018 (UTC)

You don't have to upload them with the "-Skin" suffix, you can just upload a file with the exact name as the mount skin. For example, if you wanted to upload a picture for Starscale, that would automatically show up on both that page and here, you would upload it under the name "File:Starscale.jpg", rather than "File:Starscale-Skin.jpg". —Ventriloquist 13:37, 5 August 2018 (UTC)

Ah, I didn't realize that having ".jpg" instead of ".png" was enough to differentiate the two. I'm not sure why, though, now that I think about it. Thanks for fixing that, and sorry I didn't see this until just now. Ihavethecat (talk) 19:52, 2 September 2018 (UTC)

Our infoboxes are set up in a way that .png is automatically recognized as an icon, and anything that is a .jpg format is used for a screenshot (on weapon or skin pages, for example). —Ventriloquist 17:52, 3 September 2018 (UTC)

Feedback 2019/03/29: Skin bundles for character/glider/mount

Hey i just think it would be cool if y'all did a combo deal where you could buy a matching set of skins for all the mounts and maybe even a matching skin for the player character and glider as well. I personally have thought about buying skins for my character as well as for my mounts but have been hesitant since I cannot find a matching combo. I would love to see y'all do something like that!

P.S.: And as a side note the 'Flamelander' skin y'all have for the raptor is super cool! IT's awesome I love it and is by far my favorite skin! Could y'all please make a matching set of skins for all the mounts similar to what y'all did with the star skins? P.P.S.: I realize that this would probably be a pretty steep price (somewhere at least 5000 gems i would imagine) but well worth the effort in my opinion. I don't know just my thoughts. Love y'all and love GW2 :)
