Talk:Favor of the Zephyrites
The 2nd note says "When players enter the map they are granted the current amount of favor that has been earned in that instance at the time they entered. They do not only receive favor earned while they are present." This is false. Every time I re-enter the area or log out and back in, I start over from nothing.
However, after the first thing I do to earn favor (usually kill something), I immediately get the message that I'm now at level 2 (with zero on the progress bar).
Can someone please explain why this 2nd note is there? Or, am I missing something? Daddicus (talk)
- It depends on what time you log in - every instance is on an hourly cycle. Crash Site (meta event) is active for 40 minute starting at the top of the hour, followed by a 20 minute Sandstorm! phase. For example, I logged in just now (at :34 past) and entered an instance with tier 2 favor, about 10% left for tier 3, and 5 minutes remaining until Sandstorm. —Dr Ishmael 22:35, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
- Wow, kind of hard to make any progress in an hour.
- It's a zone-wide meta event, it's not character-based. —Dr Ishmael 04:15, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
Tier 4 Favor[edit]
In Dry Top there is mention of a "Queen Chrii'kkt IV" (?) appearing when favor reaches level 4. Has anyone been in level 4 Favor? Who is this Queen? What does she do? (Sounds like a Skritt name to me) --Gold Recluse (talk) 02:55, 16 July 2014 (UTC)
- I'm not sure anyone has even noticed that a Tier 5 has been added in this update. I suppose, with so many more events, there's more favour to generate. Rognik (talk) 03:04, 16 July 2014 (UTC)
Inflation[edit]
Prices on lockpicks have been going up. Originally Tier 1 lockpick cost was 20 geodes, now it is 26!! Separ (talk) 16:02, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
- With the added areas, it is incredibly easy to get to t3+ now; I haven't seen an instance where you don't reach at least that. Anet knew this and shifted prices up a tier or two accordingly. Tyndel (talk) 16:06, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
How to Get Tier 6[edit]
I was about 80% of the way to creating a timeline showing recommended team assignments for T6, when I googled it to see what other people had done. I found a nice guide here: http://whiteside-ridge.enjin.com/forum/m/17254048/viewthread/13642547-favour-zephyrites-tier-6 which I incorporated with some of my ideas to produce the following. The above site has good graphics and a different approach to some events.
Make Up | Assignments | Notes |
---|---|---|
Team 1(3-5 People. No more to prevent scaling) |
|
|
Team 2 (at least 10 people, more is OK) |
|
|
Team 3 (at least 10 people, more is OK) |
|
|
Team 4 (at least 10 people, more is OK) |
|
|
Team 5 (3-5 People. No more to prevent scaling) |
|
|
Team 6 (at least 10 people, more is OK) |

GW2Community's Dry Top T6 runs[edit]
I took this from their TeamSpeak channel, sharing here because it's quite useful. I participated in multiple successful T6 runs with this schedule. Credit goes to GW2Community.
- Small: Tendril A -> Tendril B -> Shaman -> Vine Bridge / Serene -> Basket
- Middle: Crash Victims -> Inquest Leader -> Light Golem -> Ley Line Hub
- West: Skritt Supplies / Rustbucket -> Beetles -> Inquest Suit
- Main/Zerg: Race -> Moa -> Queen / Frog -> South Mine -> Town -> North Mine
Then the groups all join together for the Sandstorm.
- Sandstorm: Dust Mites -> Haze -> Devourer Queen -> Rare Creature -> Giant -> Dust Mites -> Haze -> Twister -> Skritt Queen -> Dust Monster -> Beetle
They also had this event map linked as reference. -- Kazerniel (talk) 17:14, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
