Epic Fail. This should be a necromancer minion summoning ability. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.67.49.126 (talk).

- You should sign, even as an anon, by using four tildes.
- Also, even if your opinion is based on anything, you haven't provided any background, so we have no way of knowing what it is based on (if anything); consequently, we can't really take it seriously.

- "Epic Fail. This should be a necromancer minion summoning ability." — You
- Why is this an epic fail? Why should it be a necromancer minion summoning ability? Unless you've reasoned this someplace other than this talk page (my apologies for not sifting through your contributions), I must maintain that you've done nothing more than stating your opinion with zero grounds as to why we should accept it.

- Because it has three O's in the name? Eive 00:51, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
- Oh I haven't reasoned it. Other people already did that thousands of years ago.216.67.49.126 00:59, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
- To be honest, throwing a dragon tooth at someone sounds a little random --Majere 01:02, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

- But is it random, or does it have something to do with the lore? ;)-- Shew 01:12, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
- I don't think getting a tooth of an ancient dragon is that simple --Majere 01:14, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
- Nah, but I think the fact that the skill takes the form of a dragon's tooth suggests a relationship between the source of an elementalist's power and dragons in general. (Maybe the dragons embody magic. I don't think I'm the first one to suggest this.)-- Shew 01:18, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

- for those who don't know whats going on, hows a dragons tooth related to a necromancer, most dragons is GW1 are elementialist, and theres a couple of ele skills that also have dragon in it's name in gw1, so what makes this a necro minnion ability?--70.54.11.187 01:56, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
- Fine, fine. Know that the google is weak in you.216.67.49.126 02:37, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

range?[edit]
would this be point blank/item spell like DWG in gw1? or would the 'tooth' be thrown? how did we even get hold of these teeth? since its a fire skill, i dont think mr. primmy would lend us his teeth Getefix 22:39, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
- It is a ground targeted skill, you select the area you want it to cast, then it does an animation where a big tooth drops. - Giant Nuker 22:43, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
Interaction with Burning Rage[edit]
with 25 points into Fire Magic, you get +5% dmg vs burning foes. if someone who was not burning was hit with dragon's tooth would the dmg of the hit be calculated with the +5% with the burning from dragon's tooth or is the burning applied after they take dmg from the hit?? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.80.106.190 (talk).

..hopefully reworked someday[edit]
Maybe the most abused skill amongst WvW cheaters. Modified zooming to get vision behind, and on top of walls, no matter how tall -> resulting in Dragon's Tooth spam while enemy unable to anything 'bout it. Still hoping for a rework into a "thrown" (maybe not visually, but anyway necessary) spell, currently it's blatantly stupid. Ruins many many otherwise potential siege placements. 91.154.14.178 23:55, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, nerf eles even more. Seriously though, this kind of feedback is far better taken to the official forums. Mediggo (talk) 06:34, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
Possible Bug[edit]
it seems that Dragon's Tooth (without specific target) can be cast only once after swapping into Fire Attunement. After the first cast, the following Dragon's Tooth (without specific target) will show no skin. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by John Titor (talk) at 01:48, 18 November 2014 (UTC).
