Image Help?[edit]
Uploaded a picture and I'm not figuring out why it won't display it in gallery. I tried adding an image line, but I might have done it wrong because nothing would show up. Is it because it's an item info-box? Or is it because the name is slightly different from what the upload path said?

- You don't have the right filename. Click on "add a gallery image" and reupload it. --Idris (talk) 01:37, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
- The issue is while we can make pages that have ":" in the name, we can't do that with images, so you can only add it by using "| gallery1 = <image name>" which I've already done for you. =) - Doodleplex 01:49, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you both! It's nice to see a work-around. I also reuploaded it, making sure to keep the filetype different from the icon's filetype.--Rain Spell (talk) 02:00, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
- By the way, in case you didn't know: icons are always .png, and screenshots are always .jpg. (Though there are exceptions in cases where you need a transparent background or animation.) If it helps you remember: jpegs are much smaller downloads and thus ideal for big screenshots, whereas pngs preserve details better and are thus ideal for icons. --Idris (talk) 02:21, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
