Talk:Crippling Shot
NOOOOOO![edit]
I loved Cripshot because of the 2 sec recharge. Why up it? It also needs to be a Long Bow skill. Because when I used the Cripshot build, it is a great sniping/support build in JQ.--173.66.189.216 20:48, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe because GW2 is an entirely new and different game? Also, this isn't elite anymore. That said, a lot of the recharges seem too long right now, I'm hoping they will be lowered once balanced for the final release. Arshay Duskbrow 21:01, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- With 20-second recharge, I believe this makes the Warrior's Pin Down better. — Raine Valen 18:07, 6 Sep 2010 (UTC)
- Do we know Pin Down's recharge? --ஸ Kyoshi 05:38, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
harpies in Life Siphon vid[edit]
They looked like crippling the poor chap to me. Maybe they used this skill? 94.212.57.91 23:24, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
- Prolly, though they could have been warriors using Pin Down --ஸ Kyoshi 05:46, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
- Or they have they own crippling skill since they don't use player professions. - Giant Nuker 12:11, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Skyrim reference[edit]
an arrow to the knee. sound like a famous skyrim quote. Brazilianbrkfst 05:59, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
- It's most likely a Skyrim reference. The knee part was added recently. --Sharkinu 06:57, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
- I was surfing gw2wiki and then I got to shortbow skills. And I was like "oh god arrow to the knee /facepalm" 151.66.185.182 13:25, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
Way over the top at this point. Is that what it actually says? I really hope they don't keep it how it is now. It was a clever joke before. At this point it's just immature meme-spouting. --74.80.61.122 10:04, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah that's what it actually says now. It is indeed a bit in your face but you'll look at the description once and then ignore it so I don't anticipate being bothered by it. Eerie Moss 10:17, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
- It could also just be in there for the beta. I'm guessing they might take it out by release. Either way, Eerie is right; my second time scrolling through the Ranger skills, I didn't look at it twice. :U 12.42.15.210 06:11, 30 March 2012 (UTC)

Arenanet, why do you troll me?--Will Greyhawk 07:23, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
People are just getting severely anal wounded because a bunch of 9fags and redditors ruined the joke, not that there was much of a joke to begin with though.
It's just a somewhat subtle reference and it even makes some sense being in the skill description, it's not LOL ARROW TO THE KNEE SO RANDUM XDDDDDDDDD like the way 95% of the internet uses it. 68.105.101.28 11:22, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
- It is not remotely subtle in any way shape or form, whatsoever. The only way it could be less subtle is if they appended the skill description with: "(-The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim reference)" 114.78.182.161 09:03, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
- LOL U MAD? --ilr 11:22, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
- Why a reference to the best singleplayer ever in the best multiplayer ever is bad? --NeHoMaR 18:17, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
- Why is it a problem -period-? Anybody who has played Guild Wars before knows it's chock full of pop culture references out the wazoo- why should this be treated any differently?--72.197.224.186 07:31, 27 May 2012 (UTC)

Bleed Synergy with Malice and Expertise training?[edit]
Does the pet actually apply the bleeds with their own stats, getting increased damage with Expertise Training, and increased duration from Malice Training? --RJStrange 02:05, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- I've been wondering the same thing. Looks like some testing needs to be done.192.168.104.82 03:01, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
- Just went and tested it in Heart of the Mists. Bear pet dealt 42-43 damage per second with 5 second bleeds without traits. With traits damage increased to 48 dps and duration increased to about 8 seconds.192.168.104.81 03:10, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
