I think it should poison instead of bleed. Real Crimson Tides (aka. Red Tides) are algal blooms. The algae release a toxin that can be harmful to humans as well as to marine life. So toxin = poison. Guild Wars 3 perhaps 01:23, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
Trivia: film[edit]
I've removed this trivia before, that the skill is a reference the 1995 film Crimson Tide. The term is much older than that, describing an algal bloom. It's also the nickname for the University of Alabama's sporting teams. I don't see how this skill is a direct reference to the film. —Dr Ishmael 15:47, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
