Talk:Continuum Shift

Please, refer from including Trivia based on guesswork. "Continuum shift" is often used by popular culture in songs, games, etc.; but "continuum" the a term used in models (mostly mathematicals, like space-time continuum models) to describe variation with quantitive transitions, without discontinuities. "Shifts" occur when results vary abruptly. An example is a slowly varying function that seems finite, but at what's called the "edge" of the continuum, it "shifts" to infinity. Continuum Mechanics are commonly used in analysis of materials, for example.
Sorry for any grammar mistakes, I'm a non native speaker and a physics student on top of that, ecsdee.
- It's thought to be a reference to BlazBlue because of Chronophantasma and the description of Well of Calamity ("... Calamity triggers, ..."), which reference other BlazBlue games --Gimmethegepgun (talk) 07:43, 30 October 2016 (UTC)
