On a gamescom video, a high level necromancer's skill description had consume conditions at 1842 healing + 226 per condition consumed vs 3370 from his taste of death (for comparison's sake) Crucis 21:38, 20 August 2011 (UTC)

Consume?[edit]

When it says consume them, does it mean remove them and heal, or just heal extra based on the number of conditions you have?~Ao Allusir 12:27, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

Healing + additional healing for every consumed condition. With no conditions, you heal for a mediocre amount. With conditions on you, the heal is greater. Gnarf 12:42, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
The healing parts are obvious, the question was whether "consume" means that the conditions are removed or not. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 13:57, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
Oh. Yes, they are consumed in terms of removed. Gnarf 15:27, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

Poison[edit]

It appears that conditions are removed and counted prior to the actual healing. Thus, poison doesn't reduce the amount healed by this skill.

Burning Pitch[edit]

The "new" condition Burning Pitch, seems to not be removed by this skill. Bug or not ? --89.156.33.49 16:38, 19 May 2013 (UTC)

Conditions that link to it[edit]

Bleeding, poison and burning have a link to Consume Conditions in their "Healing skills that remove ..." sections. Should we remove these links (like for torment)? Raljeor (talk) 19:03, 23 November 2014 (UTC)

When did this change?[edit]

Does anybody know when self-vulnerability was added to this formerly useful skill? Daddicus (talk)

It was part of the large set of changes done during the June 23rd update. G R E E N E R 07:42, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
I sure which they would explain why they make changes like that. I noticed my necro was dying a lot more than he used to, but couldn't figure out why.
Thanks for the info! Daddicus (talk)

Target the weak[edit]

Why is "Target the weak" a related trait? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 88.122.23.101 (talk).

You're right, it shouldn't be there. Fixed. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 20:09, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
