Gathered this in Diessa Plateau today, 2 dropped out of "Herb Seedlings" just north of Village of Butcher's Block. 24.88.104.239 05:11, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

Nothing but blueberries

I walked all around Ascalon and found nothing but blueberries. I have not found a single Chili Pepper the whole time I've played the game and I've spent a decent amount of my time in Ascalon. I even went out of my way trying to find them last night and ended up finding 10-20 blueberry bushes but not a single herb. From the above comments and my own experience it sounds of it an explanation of where they are or at least something more specific than just "Ascalon" might be helpful, since blueberry seems to be the predominant plant. --Sigil (Sigil) 16:07, 25 January 2013 (UTC)

Finally found some herbs in Plains of Ashford. Out of about 5 plants (one of which harvested 5 times) I found one Chili Pepper. Evidently they are just a rarer drop. I'll have to try Diessa Plateau some more, perhaps it drops more there. --Sigil (Sigil) 16:27, 27 January 2013 (UTC)

Like all plants, Herb Seedlings and other varieties of herbs spawn randomly in a finite number of possible locations, which changes after a server reset; there's no way for the wiki to document the exact location. I don't know why you aren't seeing them in Plains of Ashford, since I'm able to harvest at least one every time I walk between a few waypoints. As you note, chiles are relatively rare possible drop from herbs, so I find it more efficient to farm coin and buy them off the TP. 75.37.16.51 18:47, 27 January 2013 (UTC)

I have found three nodes that should drop Chili Pepper in Diessa Plateau.

1 - 2 Head of Garlic

2. E of Stoneguard Gate Waypoint

1 - 3 Black Peppercorn

2 - 2 Bay Leaf

3. Near Ascalon Settlement

1 - 1 Oregano Leaf

In Iron Marches, Mature Herbs dropped Chili Pepper 1 in 8 harvests. CmdrZin (talk) 03:06, 23 March 2014 (UTC)
