New POI's

With yesterday's update I think they added some more POI's, I've found one so far in Diessa Plateau in The Wurm's Gullet. Sadly I have no clue where THIS page and the chat links comes from. That's not sad, it's old and blind =) I do re-check before for I enter info but not so much on talk pages.(See various discussions where I say "zone" but really mean "area" and then the whole wiki gets into the discussion.) It was North Nolan Hatchery that I found after doing the whole area, just went there to add a "location" for Claret. Oh and I think the Cliffs are located in Maguuma Jungle based on the color coded map I saw, but don't quote me on that, seeing I thought the hatchery was in Wurms Gullet. Thanks again. And if Dr Ishmael have already appeared... I have an idea: what if we document vistas? Infobox can be pretty much the same as the PoI's one, we have ID->link, we can also add animation (always wanted to do so), and a walkthrough on the page describing how to reach vista... P.S. Labyrinthine Cliffs were added to the newly created Living Story category, imo it is the best option since it's temporary content.

You mean, that we do not have rights to invent names and post them on the wiki because they are not "approved by devs"/"official names"? Hmmm... what if we rewrite tables on zone pages to include links? Or having links to vistas is a stupid idea at all? MalGalad 20:42, 14 July 2013 (UTC)

Not exactly - we already have unofficial names for a number of things, there's not really anything wrong with that. However, this would be making up unofficial names for an entire class of things - 266 of them, to be exact. I feel that would be going a little too far. Vistas

I'm starting to add vistas to these lists, since we know their IDs. In terms of making up names for them, I'm attempting to name them in terms of what they show, not necessarily where they are located. Thus, of the 2 vistas located in Plaza of Melandru, I named the northern one "The Crown Pavilion Vista" because it shows of the pavilion, not the plaza. (Just now I noticed that it was already named that way on the area's page, so whoo!) Some of them I name from memory, others I'm actually running out and viewing them. In either case, I'm probably not getting them all perfect, so anyone should feel free to improve on them. —Dr Ishmael 17:39, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
