Disappeared during Thaumanova Fractal

So I used this to capture two strikes in the one fractal, and I noticed that after the second one, the bottle is no longer in my inventory. I had 4 more to capture in different fractals and didn't notice that I no longer had the bottle until I was ready to cap the next strike. I'm wondering if this is some sort of bug or if anyone else has had this happen to them. 120.29.44.147 13:49, 10 January 2018 (UTC)

I had exactly the same thing happen to me in the Thaumanova Fractal. I'm currently trying to get a new Capacitive Bottle through Anet support.4.Feb.2018. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 124.171.236.61 (talk).

Mine disappeared as well after I went in solo to Thaumanova Fractal level 15 to grab the lightning and heat rooms. Succesfully got both items from that Fractal but Capacitive Bottle was gone from shared inventory spot afterwards. 11 Feb 2018. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.118.249.208 (talk).

Thanks for the input, folks. I've added a bug note to the article. My impression from your comments is that this only occurs in Thaumanova Fractal; IP 120.29.44.147 mentioned using it twice in one fractal, and iirc Thaumanova is the only fractal with two charges. --Idris (talk) 05:04, 12 February 2018 (UTC)

I also lost my Capacitive Bottle during the Thaumanova Fractal last night. I activated it twice before figuring out what I needed to do get the Bottle of Reactor Energy, but then when I went to use it on the Lightning Turret for the Bottle of Thaumanova Energy, I saw the Capacitive Bottle was missing from my inventory. Fortunately, you can buy replacement Capacitive Bottles on the TP for about 10s, or potentially less with a buy order. ( Kalendraf (talk) 14:18, 21 March 2018 (UTC) )

(Reset indent) Just had mine disappear from my inventory as well, while in Thaumanova Fractal. I think the most confusing/frustrating part of it is not being able to craft a new one. It's weird that there would be cheap bottles for sale on the tp if it can only be crafted once, and the recipe doesn't give any indications of being once-only; what happens if you try to craft it again? --Idris (talk) 14:01, 14 May 2018 (UTC)

It's possible that it can be crafted more than once, but only if the Capacitive Bottle hasn't been added to the collection, which has to be done manually. Wolf Sabian (talk) 15:23, 14 May 2018 (UTC)

This is still an issue as of July 16th 2018. Exactly as described, used twice in Thaumanova Fractal and my Capacitive Bottle vanished. Also I'm unable to craft a new one. So essentially it's two bugs, the one for thaumo and the one for not being able to craft a non unique once adding it to your collection. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bald And Bearded (talk) at 05:42, 16 July 2018 (UTC).

I've just received an ingame report that this bug still isn't fixed as of June 2020: "i used that bottle without having it added to collection, while in thaumanova fractal i received the item but the bottle disappeared and i couldn't craft another one" —Idris 18:47, 24 June 2020 (UTC)

I just had this issue in June 2022, so it's not fixed. Used capacitive bottle in reactor and it disappeared after I got Bottle of Reactor Energy. No way to craft a new one. As per advice above, bought a second for 20 silver off TP —Dhau 15:07, 15 July 2022 (UTC)
