Talk:Abbey Ruins
A sword, a frog, and a cat named Alfa. Potential reference to Chrono Trigger? Magus' cat was named Alfador 142.161.22.65 18:44, 6 February 2013 (UTC) Gangnam Afro Yo
- It's possible, but impossible to say for sure. Would like to receive an official confirmation for this. :P Mediggo 19:06, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
More proof of a Chrono Trigger reference[edit]

After you bring the warband to the Ruins, Alfa walks up the stairs and "The Prophet" spawns and states "The power of Ascalon is unimaginable. Oppose it, and meet your doom". The Prophet was the name Magus used in Chrono Trigger when he was going undercover in the Ice Age to infiltrate Zeal. Furthermore, Magus has a similar quote in Chrono Trigger where he says something to the tune of ‘unimaginable is the power of lavos.. anyone who dares oppose it will face certain doom’.
I know we would like developer feedback on this to be sure, but I can't see this just being a coincidence. I'm gunning so hard for this because CT is my favourite game of all time, so maybe it's caused me to have blinders on. But even if I try to take a neutral look at it, its pretty convincing.

I have added specific foes, nodes, and connection in the infobox. I've removed the section stub code but left the location stub for the page as a whole in case there's anything else that should be added. If nobody has said anything in response here in about a month, I'll probably remove the location stub since I can't see anything else that needs to be added except maybe a screenshot of the actual location? Bells[edit]
Is there any reason the bells ring after the event? --92.195.94.4 11:05, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
