Collection items[edit]
Collectible | Type | Subtype | Map | Location | Notes | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Parable of Abaddon, Page 1 | Item | Trophy | Hint: Tucked away in the spider's den. In the same location as the Kill the undead spider event. Use updrafts in Dwayna's Reliquary, near the waterfall.
Travel North of the Mastery Point, through a small hidden cave. Loop up and around the rocks to get to the spider's den. "This sheet is titled the same as the other parables, but it looks like a copy. The paper isn't ancient parchment, and it hasn't been as weathered." | ||
2 | Parable of Abaddon, Page 2 | Item | Trophy | Hint: Inside the ship that sits on both land and sea. In a secret cove, accessed by swimming under a sunken ship.
"And thus, Arah was built, sector by sector, in honor of the gods. It rose into the clouds and sank deep into the ground." | ||
3 | Parable of Abaddon, Page 3 | Item | Trophy | Hint: Face the lava in between the twins. Above the fountainhead. There is an updraft east of Balthazar's arm, behind which is an arc of 4 columns. The page is behind one of those columns.
"The people of Orr decorated it with gold and gems befitting the gods who protected them." | ||
4 | Parable of Abaddon, Page 4 | Item | Trophy | Hint: Climb the porous walls of the steaming waterway. Inside one of the indents on the side of the cliff wall, directly south of the south east lava pool.
"The gods were pleased, and so it came to pass that the gods came to Orr and made it their home." | ||
5 | Parable of Abaddon, Page 5 | Item | Trophy | Hint: Attached to the porous walls of the steaming waterway. Same location as page 4.
"With the gods came artifacts, relics, and secret knowledge, and the gods wished for a safe place to store these treasures." | ||
6 | Parable of Abaddon, Page 6 | Item | Trophy | Hint: Dive deep where Dwayna meets the waterway. Found in the water, under a pipe, directly south of Balthazar's Heart.
"Abaddon—god of secrets, knowledge. and magic—designed a set of reliquaries to hold these precious items. As a gift, he gave one to each of the other gods and created his own centerpiece." | ||
7 | Parable of Abaddon, Page 7 | Item | Trophy | Hint: In the rubble of the place that has been forgotten. North of the Forgotten Plaza point of interest, in the rubble.
"These reliquaries he connected on a magical grid that illuminated them all. Thus, he kept thieves and defilers at bay." | ||
8 | Parable of Abaddon, Page 8 | Item | Trophy | Hint: Overseen by Queen Doran. Once you have access to Abaddon's treasure room, dive into the water in the centre of the room.
"This copy of the parable has notes written in the margin, written by a modern hand." | ||
9 | Parable of Abaddon, Page 9 | Item | Trophy | Hint: Sitting in the shade of overgrown palms. South-East of the Overgrown Gazebo point of interest, in the bushes.
"Abaddon sent away. Gods wipe record of him. Childish! Why so many Abaddon relics here if true? Is this even parable?" | ||
10 | Parable of Abaddon, Page 10 | Item | Trophy | Hint: Hidden among the garden that is secret. Use portals to access the cliffs with two botanists. Tablet is behind some bushes and rocks. Same cliff as Parable of Lyssa, Page 1.
"No mention of reliquaries in the history books. Gods hid it with a magical veil? Did they sink it too? But post-god maps show the region existed. May never know truth." | ||
11 | Parable of Abaddon, Page 11 | Item | Trophy | Hint: Atop Abaddon's last legacy. Climb onto the fallen Abaddon statue and use Ley-Line Leap to reach the scroll held by the standing statue to the east of it. The tablet is at the tip of the scroll.
"Orr gets sunk, then rises. Veil shredded? Reliquaries revealed. Hehe. Abaddon, Keeper of Secrets, has the last word." | ||
12 | Cipher of Abaddon | Item | Trophy | Automatically unlocked. |

Notes[edit]
- Unique to this parable, pages 8 through 11 describe marginalia.
- Trying to interact with any of the pages from this collection prior to unlocking the hidden collection (by completing the Master Storyteller achievement and speaking to the Priest of Abaddon) will present the player with the following text:
- The writing on this tablet is indecipherable. It seems to move and twist, making it impossible to read.
- How odd. I wonder what this is.
