Storm Top, or World 2 Zone 3, is the sixth level of Super Adventure Box.

Tribulation Mechanics

A high-level overview of the hazards in this zone:

• Barrel: contains nothing and will instantly kill players who get too close to them.
• Helping Hand: some will turn into Hand Missiles that will fire at players, resulting in instant death.
• No Cloud: these clouds will electrify themselves after a few seconds.
• Spears: like Spikes, but invisible until players get close. They can sprout from walls as well as the ground. Spears stay visible after first activation.
• Spikes: touching these will result in instant death.
• Tribulation Cloud: these clouds will follow a player shooting electricity and creating large AOE fields if you get too close.

Additionally, there are a few non-lethal mechanics:

• Balloon Pump: can be interacted with to acquire a Balloon.
• Cloud Flag: using a Balloon's   Unlock skill next to it will turn it into a checkpoint. Unlocking the cloud flags is not required to complete the zone.

This walkthrough details the path through the zone in tribulation mode in addition to the locations of all shops needed for the Tough Customer, World 2 achievement, and the stump needed for the Woodpecker achievement.

Storm Top is very dark in tribulation mode. It is recommended to use the candle or torch for light. Adjusting the Full-Screen Gamma setting or your monitor's settings can help a little as well. Having the torch is needed to finish the level; it can be bought in the shop just before checkpoint #2.

Start to Cloud Save 1 or Checkpoint 1

Contains the stump for the Woodpecker achievement.

There is a fairly easy shortcut that skips the next section and cloud save #2. Activating checkpoint #1 is a good idea if you are using the shortcut.

Cloud Save 2 or Checkpoint 1 to Checkpoint 2

Contains shop #11 for Tough Customer, World 2 (The candle is too weak).

Checkpoint 2 to Cloud Save 3

Contains shop #9 for Tough Customer, World 2 (Tucked away after a checkpoint).

Cloud Save 3 to Cloud Save 4

Do not activate checkpoint #3. There are spikes on it, and you'll die instantly when spawning there.

Checkpoint 9 to Cloud Save 8

Contains shop #10 (After performing, left) and shop #12 (After performing, straight ahead) for Tough Customer, World 2.

Boss

The boss fight has two differences from normal mode. In the first phase, energy sparks keep spawning at the edges of the platform. In the second phase, all eight energy sparks attack you simultaneously instead of in two waves.
