Researcher Lewin Frazar is a member of the Durmand Priory stationed at Koga Ruins to assist sylvari and asura with local problems in hopes that they can be recruited for the fight against the Elder Dragons. He has a strong belief in magic and mysticism, which is not shared by his skeptical partner, Researcher Elspeth Andryan. After successful completion of either Help the Priory return the energy core to the Henge of Denravi or Defend the Priory while they rebuild Mirkrise camp, he will offer items as a merchant.

Just exploring. What's the Durmand Priory doing out here?

We're studying the nearby Koga ruins, as well as the dessicated husks near Denravi. Both present opportunity to expand our knowledge of the world.

Tell me more about the research at the Koga ruins.

There's spectral energy throughout the area. Ghosts and spirits seem trapped here, unable to move on to the Mists. We're studying the effect in detail.

Why are you studying the husks around Denravi?

The husks resemble the ancient druids of Denravi, but those creatures vanished hundreds of years ago. If that's what they are, it leaves us with an even bigger mystery.

What's so special about these husks?

They still contain a great deal of energy, which is startling. The Inquest are investigating the matter as well. Why, I don't have the foggiest idea.

What's this about a mystery?

If these aren't husks, what are they, and where did they come from? If they are druids, where have they been? Why have they returned? That's what we're here to try and answer.

Our knowledge is limited, but we do know that vines have breached the mountain. I've sent Arcanist Kera to the Tangle Root outpost, while we focus our attention to the tendril that has appeared here.
