Primordus's Theme
"Primordus's Theme" is a recurring instrumental theme which musically represents the Elder Dragon Primordus. The theme made its debut during Chapter 1: Truce of Episode 5: Champions of The Icebrood Saga. To reflect Primordus's harsh, elemental nature, the music associated with him is primarily driven by relentless heavy percussion in an odd meter. Woven into it are the howls and screeches of a jouhikko, a traditional Finnish bowed lyre also used for the norn in The Icebrood Saga, representing the Elder Dragon's chaotic energy.[1]
Use in Guild Wars 2[edit]
"Primordus's Theme" makes its first appearance in game during the Primordus Rising story step in Chapter 1: Truce of the Champions release.
