Locate and kill the transformed krait witch is a level 10 event that occurs in Ventry Bay. A player must speak to Patli to obtain hylek saliva and then throw it at Hylek Villagers to reveal the krait witch.

Walkthrough[edit]
- Talk to Patli to obtain the Hylek saliva skill set. Use Throw Saliva (skill 1) on the Hylek Villagers in the village to determine which one is the Krait Witch. The saliva skill is very inaccurate, standing on top of or nearly on top of each villager while triggering the skill is a good tactic.
- The Krait Witch hits very hard and can be difficult to defeat with only a few players. She has a multi-target harpoon attack which deals a lot of damage, pulls struck targets to her, and generates a poison field around herself. This devastating combo can kill a level 10 character in a few shots. She always starts combat with this attack, so be ready to dodge as soon as she is aggroed. A skill to remove or transfer conditions is also highly recommended.
- Try and make use of the Hylek NPCs in the village to draw fire, but be aware that they will not last long against the Witch.
- If the Witch can be lured outside the village, the Hylek Poison Turrets can be used to bombard her from a safe distance. This is a good way for low-level or fragile characters to contribute to the fight. The downside of trying to bring the fight outside the village is that other krait enemies along the beach can be drawn into the fight.
