Dialogue[edit]
During Flame and Frost[edit]
- Excuse my curt words, but the general and I are busy tracking our Shiverpeaks troops. If you wish to help, find Molten invaders and start hitting. Hard.
- Understood.
During Battle for Lion's Arch: Aftermath[edit]
- (If the player has completed Victory or Death)
- Commander! I wasn't surprised to hear you had dispatched that horrid Scarlet. It seems only yesterday you led us to victory over Zhaitan.
- Why is the Pact here?
- When I heard there was some connection between Scarlet and the dragons, I petitioned to bring one ship to survey the issue.
- But the Pact has a greater mission.
- Exactly why it took everything I had to convince Trahearne to spare one ship. Protecting cities from deviants isn't our mission. But, there may be a dragon involved.
- What do you mean?
- Priory scholars are saying Scarlet's drill breached a ley line in order to rouse an Elder Dragon. If this is true, then we face a possible larger threat from her meddling.
- I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks.
- Agreed.
- Understood. As you were.
- Tell me what happened. (Begins recap.)
- Thanks, Laranthir. As you were.
- (If the player has completed Forging the Pact, but not Victory or Death)
- Commander, excellent work killing Scarlet. I'm glad you're keeping busy while away from the Pact.
- Why aren't you in Orr?
- Tell me what happened. (Begins recap.)
- I imagine so.
- (If the player has not completed Forging the Pact)
- You killed Scarlet. What can I do for you? I'm here representing the Pact, and by extension, the orders.
- What do you know about the Elder Dragons?
- Unless they're stopped, they'll bring our world to ruin.
- I have another question.
- Let's hope it doesn't come to that.
- What are the orders?
- What's the Pact?
- The Pact is an alliance between the three orders. It was founded to battle and slay the Elder Dragons. With the combined might of the orders, we plan to save Tyria or die trying.
- Why didn't the Pact help save Lion's Arch?
- That's not what we do. We've been tasked with slaying the Elder Dragons. Defending a city from an attack falls outside our charter. But then we heard the dragon's cry.
- What do you mean?
- We believe Scarlet's drilling roused a dragon. If we'd known that was her plan, we could have justified getting involved.
- I have another question.
- I'll be going now.
- I have another question.
- I'll be going now.
- I have another question.
- Good luck.
- Tell me what happened. (Begins recap.)
