Hide-and-Seek Master is a child looking for someone willing to play hide-and-seek with them inside Sun's Refuge. They can be found behind a tent near the eastern Pact Vanguard exit.

Hiding spots[edit]
- Next to the wall in an encove north of the east bridge, behind Naja.
- In a corner atop the platform with the Diving Goggles for the Swan Dive achievement on it, north of the east bridge.
- Next to the wall of the center elevation, north of the east bridge.
- Next to the wall next to a pillar with statues next to it, north of the center flame.
- Behind the highest feature of the house to the north east of the starting location.
- Next to the wall in a tiny encove atop a platform with griffons on it on the southwest side of the mountain structure south from the starting location, above Ziya the Radiant.
- Atop one of the roofs of the house directly ahead of the southwestern bridge, above the entrance with the rune slots in front.
- On the northern side on the eastern end of the eastern bridge.
- On the southwestern side of the southeastern bridges southeastern end.
- In the passage connecting the areas reachable from the southern bridges, up above on a ledge with a griffon on the side closer to the center tucked in the corner to the west.
- In the inclination on the southernmost part of the map, next to the area with the Dolyaks.
- In bettwen two hay stacks in the area with Dolyaks in the southernmost part of the map.
- Behind the middle of three tents in the area reachable through the southwestern bridge.
- On the northwestern side of the southwestern bridges southwestern end.
- Next to the northern side of the wall on the platform with griffons in the higher section of the mountain structure west from the center, next to Historian Svar.
- Next to the eastern wall of the northern corridor, behind Nadim.
- Between boxes to the southwest of the fire at the end of the coridor to the western area.
- Next to the wall on top of the roof of a house with a griffon on it right ahead to the west from the central fire through the western coridor.
- Next to the wall in an encove on the southeastern side of the wall of the way leading up to the roof above the entrance with the rune slots in front.
- Next to the southern wall of the area with the entrance and rune slots and the pillar pieces, next to the westernmost piece of a destroyed pillar.
- Next to the western wall on the roof with Zafirah in the area reachable from the southwestern bridge.
- Next to the western wall on the second to top roof above the roof with Zafirah in the area reachable from the southwestern bridge.

Notes[edit]
- The Hide-and-Seek Master is renamed to Hiding Child during a game and to Child after having been found.
- They will only hide within the Sun's Refuge area, never at the Old Command Post.
- They will often hide in tall places, like cliffs and atop buildings; checking the areas where griffons can be found is a good strategy. They can also sometimes be found on the ground, near walls or under the bridges.
- The Hide-and-Seek Master will respawn at their initial spot by the eastern exit about a minute after finishing a round of hide-and-seek. If they don't respawn, exiting and re-entering the refuge should reset them.
- Bridge edges and corners behind rocks are also good places.
- If struggling, tag up as a commander before entering the instance, and apply a commander indicator to the Hide-and-Seek Master - the marker will remain active after the NPC has moved provided the hiding spot isn't too far away.
- Using Ctrl + T to mark the child works as well. A red reticle stays above the child when the game starts but only if the hiding place is near the start point.
- Checking "Show All NPC Names" in the options might aid in locating the hidden child.
- This achievement pairs nicely with Fishy Business. Simply harvest the fish east of PJKT D33-J4Y at each start of Hide and Seek.
- The time limit for locating a hiding child is 5 minutes. The following text will appear in the center of the upper half of the screen 30 seconds prior to the end of said limit: 30 seconds remain in your game of hide-and-seek!
