Of course. We need our animals to survive and grow as a clan. They provide our food and clothing, but they are also our companions.

Oh, she's jealous. I'm older than her. I've had more practise herding animals. I have a better connection to them.

You're not like the other ogres I've met.

I'm a rare flower, I admit. Outsiders only know us as gruff, perhaps uncivil. But I've lived 200 years. I've learned that it pays to have social graces.
