How do you become a admin?
How do you become a admin? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jad (talk) .
- For this wiki it hasn't been decided yet. Currently the admins here are the same as those on Guild Wars Wiki. A similar scheme to the Guildwiki/GWW will likely be introduced. So you might become an admin by being an active contributor, by being a reasonable, articulate sort of person and being liked and respected enough to garner sufficient favour in a community vote on your suitability for the position. --Aspectacle 09:33, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- There's a discussion at Guild Wars 2 Wiki talk:Policy/Adminship. -- Gordon Ecker 10:23, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- You can also see what the GuildWarsWiki requires from an admin at gw1:Guild Wars Wiki:Adminship. -- pling | ggggg 11:01, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- In all reality Aspectacle and Pling, those are the requirements for GWW, not necessarily what those requirements are here. As this is a new wiki, the implication that the old standards and policies automatically apply here is not cool, and has not been determined as the accepted standards and policies for this wiki. Aspectacle, that also implies that the current administration is going to try to force the policies here to strictly follow the ones in use on GWW, and doing that is also not cool. 42 - talk 22:19, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- Might wanna check the timestamps. But anyway, it gives a rough idea of what an admin is, it's not necessarily saying exactly how things will be done. -- pling 15:10, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

"Re poke: as I understand it, I made a change, poke reverted it (his 1st revert), I reverted his revert (my first revert) and poke reverted again (i.e. his second revert). Re IP: you betcha... --Max 2 19:40, 25 July 2009 (UTC)"
Reverts aren't person-based*. You had the second revert, Poke had the first and the third.
*=Well, that's how 1RV works; Don't know about 1RR, since I never use GWW. --- -- talkpage 19:26, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
