Dialogue[edit]
- There's so much to learn! The Dream certainly doesn't prepare us for everything.
- (if sylvari)
- Let me guess. Newly awakened?
- Yes, I awoke not long ago. And I have so many questions, about everything.
- What's on your mind?
- First of all, the sky turns different colors, from blue to grey to peach and many others. But why does it do this?
- That's an interesting question. I think—
- Oh, yeah! And where do clouds come from? Sometimes they're in the sky, and sometimes they're not. I haven't seen any today, but there may be more tomorrow.
- Well, you raise an intriguing—
- And then, why do some clouds look white like cotton, while others are gray and drop water on us? Where do clouds get so much water?
- Well, maybe if you'd let me—
- Speaking of colors, what are they? Why are some things red, and other things green? Why are there so many colors? Why can't we see colors as well at night?
- Are you about done?
- Done? Oh Blessed Mother, I want to know everything. Perhaps I should ask my mentor. Thanks anyways!
- All right. Have fun.
- I have to go. Ask your mentor.
- I suggest you ask your mentor.
- Why don't you ask your mentor.
- You should ask someone else.
- I should be going now.
- (if not sylvari)
- Let me guess. You just fell off the tree, hm?
- Yes. And I'm due for a lesson with my mentor soon. He's going to quiz me on the tenets of Ventari's Tablet, so I have to practice. If you'll excuse me.
- You can practice on me, if you want. How many are there?
- Seven. And the first one is: live life well and fully, and waste nothing. I got that one down.
- Okay. That's one. What's two?
- Do not fear difficulty. Hard ground makes sore feet.
- Makes sense. And three?
- The only lasting pieces are the pieces of your soul.
- I don't know what that means, but okay. Next.
- All things...grow. And the blossom bothers the weed.
- Hm. Sure, why not? Five?
- Never leave a wrong to right in evil or sorrow.
- What? Never mind. Let's move on. And six is?
- Act with wisdom and axe.
- I can get behind that one. And the last one?
- From the smallest grass to the largest mountain, where life grows, go there...and do things.
- Good job. Sounds great to me, but then, I'm no sylvari.
- Keep practicing. I have to go.
- Keep practicing. I have to go.
- Keep practicing. I have to go.
- Keep practicing. I have to go.
- Keep practicing. I have to go.
- Keep practicing. I have to go.
- I'll leave you to it.
- I don't have time for this.
