Gamli Aðalsteinnson
Gamli Aðalsteinnson is the Tavern Proprietor who offers access to the treasury and guild upgrades.
He is first met on the first floor of the Guild Initiative Headquarters until your guild begins building the guild hall tavern, but does not offer any services there.
After claiming your guild hall, prior to Tavern Restoration 1, he will appear beside the throne.[verification requested]
Following Tavern Restoration 1, he can be found at the built tavern - see the maps on Guild hall#Buildings. He will also then offer the ability to deposit ascended food into the guild bank.

This window appears upon selecting "I'd like to deposit some food for the guild." Account bound ascended food will be deposited from the player's inventory into the Consumables section of the Guild panel, making it available for use to other guild members.

- Before Tavern Restoration 1 starts
- I'm Gamli, the "provisioner" assigned by the Guild Initiative. We need a place to eat and relax. The Initiative recommends a mess hall. I think a proper tavern would be better! What do you say?

- I used to live in Hoelbrak, but when I saw the devastation being caused by the Elder Dragons, I couldn't sit at home anymore. Tyria is in danger.

- Gamli Aðalsteinnson: Mining? But you just got here! Pull up a chair, have a bite to eat.
- Rekka: Eating? I've got no time for eating! There's stuff in the ground, and we need it!

- Rekka: Raw aetherium! Initiative surveyors discovered an unusual concentration of it here. We might even hit a mother lode!
- Rekka: That aetherium could provide a tremendous source of magic—once we dig it up. Now can you see why I'm so excited?
- Gamli Aðalsteinnson: I can! Still, you can't mine on an empty stomach. Sit and eat. An official will come to discuss the mine soon enough.

Trivia[edit]
- The name "Aðalsteinnson", native to Icelandic, is correctly spelled with an eth instead of the "d" usually employed in English spellings of the name. Eth is a voiced "th" sound (as in this, not thin).
