Walkthrough

The collection icon above the mushrooms appears very late. Zoom in a little and walk through the event area and take a closer look at all the event mushrooms before touching them. The poisonous mushrooms should not be touched.

There are 4 types of mushrooms:

• Dark purple — When interacted with, the player receives  Hallucination for 30 seconds. This can be cured using the Water Bucket.
• Brown with greenish vapor animation — When interacted with, the player receives  Poisoned for 30 seconds. This can be cured using the Water Bucket.
• Brown with beige bubble animation — Safe to interact with, and can be handed in to Fabled Brook for one point.
• Shiny yellow — When interacted with, the player receives  Golden Mushroom, and upon handing it in to Fabled Brook receives five points. Completes the Golden Mushroom Guru achievement. Only available once per event.

All types can have more or less large white spots.

The player can collect as many mushrooms as they want before handing them in. The number is displayed in the buff bar. The mushrooms can, after a while, reappear in the same place after they have been collected.

Some mushrooms spawn an enemy fungus instead of being collected.

• The mushroom spawns once per event, in a single location common to all players, and disappears for all players once picked.
• One location of the mushroom is on the east side of the event circle.^{[verification requested]}
• Another location of the golden shroom is to the west of the event circle inside a bush.
• The third known location is to the north at the base of three trees.
• The fourth location is slightly southeast of Fabled Brook at the base of one of the thicker trees.

What are you talking about?

I need your help gathering edible mushrooms for the village. But make sure to taste test them first! They can be tough to see, and some are a bit... testy. So be careful!

Fine. I'll help.
