Dialogue[edit]
- You'd be wise to keep moving and leave us to our toil. We're the ones who got ourselves exiled from the kingdom, after all.
- I help my fellow exiles to meet our quotas, to avoid giving Warden Jabari any excuse to take more of us away to his Deadhouse. My wife Emara works to raise spirits and inspure our fellow exiles.
- Most who are exiled here don't know anything about farming. If my wife and I didn't help our friends grow food for the kingdom, Warden Jabari would harvest their lives instead.
- What's the warden's story? (Same as below.)
- Can I do anything to help out around here?
- Sounds like your people are in a miserable situation, Foreman. I'm sorry.
Why don't you try to escape? What keeps you here?
- Jabari's a butcher who was once a Sunspear like Olishar. King Joko put him in charge of the Deadhouse, where unruly exiles are taken. Jabari's abused that authority to turn it into a killing floor.

What's the warden's story?
- Can I do anything to help you out?
- Seems like a hard life. Good luck.
What do you do here?
- My wife Emara and I defied King Joko's will by worshiping Kormir in secret. Someone in our village informed on us, and the clanmarshal sent us to work the Arid Gladefields.
- Purity is[sic] small farming communit south of our own. On both sides of the Bone Wall, this region grows Elona's food thanks to the life-giving waters of the Elon River diverted by King Joko.
- Can I do anything to help you out?
- Seems like a hard life. Good luck.
Tell me more about the village you came from.
- Communities in the kingdom are traditionally ruled by two leaders: a clanmarshal and an Awakened vizier advisor. They have the power to exile us from the protection King Joko promises his citizens.
- Can I do anything to help you out?
- Seems like a hard life. Good luck.
This clanmarshal ruled your former home?

Why were you exiled, exactly?
- And follow the moon to Amnoon. Glad to have you as an ally. We work with Second Spear Olishar to help deserters seek refuge in the north. Find Jimoh—she can tell you more.
- Olishar is one of the last Sunspears. He's spent years risking his life to protect the innocent from Warden Jabari. He's told me he'll come to our aid anytime he hears my horn.
- For now, is there anything I can do around the farm to help you out?
- Glad to know he's there for you. Good luck.
What can you tell me about Olishar?
- Olishar established a network of "oasis camps" heading north—secret havens willing to harbor deserters. Jimoh gathers defectors and escorts them through the desert to First Camp.
- Can I do anything to help out around here?
- Your people are brave. Good luck.
What's Jimoh's role in this?

The desert sun burns too strong, so I travel in shadow.
- Seems like a hard life. Good luck.
- During Help Erran storm the Deadhouse to save his wife, Emara
- Warden Jabari took my wife Emara to his Deadhouse. Unless she can be freed in time, he'll kill her so she can be Awakened to serve him. Olishar and I plan to storm the prison, but we could use help.
- Count me in—I want to help you.
- See us safely to the side gates of the Deadhouse, and I'll blast our way in. Once we're inside, Second Spear Olishar will deal with the warden while I free Emara and any other surviving prisoners.
- Count me in—I want to help you.
- Why did the warden take your wife? (Same as below.)
- I can't help you right now, but good luck.
What's your plan to free her?
- We didn't meet our harvest quota, and Jabari used that as an excuse to arrest her and intimidate me. No one is ever released alive from his Deadhouse—he kills and Awakens his prisoners to serve him.
- Count me in—I want to help you.
