I get a new work list every day, though to be honest, it doesn't change much. The Span requires all our attention to keep the Brand from destroying it. There's plenty to do. You still interested?

Absolutely. I'm ready for action!

We could use someone to operate the cannons. The tunnels have been infested with Branded devourers, and the area north of here is littered with mortar shells. Also, that Brand storm blew out all the lightning rods.

Tell me about the devourers.

There are tunnels underneath the Span, infested with devourers— Branded devourers. We send someone down there regularly to check on things. You'd be a good fit for that job.

I think so too. Ill head that way.

Tell me about the lightning rods.

You wouldn't believe what Brand lightning does to fur! All that static electricity can be inconvenient, not to mention embarrassing. We put out lightning rods to ground it, but storms blow down the rods. We have to set them right.

I don't mind a zap or two. Ill go.

Tell me about the cannons.

I thought you looked like a good marksman. You can find the cannons on the Span's upper level. Try to blow up as many Branded as you can, okay?

Tell me about the mortar shells.

We left unexploded mortar shells north of the Span thanks to a failed experiment. It'd be catastrophic if the enemy ever used them against us. If you pick'em up, feel free to use them on Branded.
