Destroy the Ruinbringer is a level 80 group event that occurs in Frost Citadel as a part of the Assault on the Frost Citadel meta event.

Walkthrough

As players enter the Ruinbringer room from the south, Ruinbringer spawns on the north east side of the room and slowly circles the room in an anti-clockwise direction. At the beginning of the fight, Ruinbringer has both left and right shield generators which must be damaged to destroy them. Once both left and right shield generators are destroyed, Ruinbringer can be damaged directly to defeat it. On the north side of the room are 6 Charr Harpoon Tanks. In order for a tank to be used, 200 supplies have to be spent to repair a tank. Charr Harpoon Tank skills, Electromagical Pulse 2.0 (skill) and Remote Charge (skill) deals significant damage to the Ruinbringer. A major hindrance with damaging the shield generators is that the Ruinbringer is very large and both shield generators can only be damaged from the side they are on. When the Ruinbringer spawns, it's right shield generator faces the north whereas it's left shield generator faces the south. At the start of the fight, players should spread between the north and south sides of the rooms to destroy both shield generators quickly. In the room, a large number of dominion troops and Elite Ice Giants also spawn. The elite ice giant is particularly dangerous as it's body slam attack interrupts in an aoe which will render players vulnerable to Ruinbringer's attacks while interrupted. Once Ruinbringer is defeated, one Enemy Supply Cache and one Frost Legion Chest spawns besides the north east ramp.
