Dialogue[edit]
- I wish Drizla would notice me.
- Your plan didn't work?
- My growth brew worked for a little while. My pet, Max, was impressive. But it wore off, and Max shrank back down.
- I'm not sure she'd fall for it, but I have no choice. Max is so puny. An ogre is only good as his pet. Drizla deserves the very best.
- Why don't you get a different pet?
- Shh! He'll hear you. I could never leave Max. We've been together since he was just a little bump. He's a tried and true friend, and that's much more important than his size.
- I'm glad to see you have your priorities straight.
Time to lay down the charm. Say your pet is small because of her big, beautiful eyes.
- Do you think so? I could collect nettles for her tea, and Max can find fungus for her. Maybe she'd like that.
- Have you considered getting a different pet? (Same as above)
- I'm sure she would. Good luck.
You don't need a special pet to impress her. Be yourself, she'll love you.
- That's a great idea. A double batch will last twice as long.
- Why don't you just get a different pet? (Same as above)
- Good luck with that.
Stop being a coward. Give the oinker a double batch. She'll never know the difference.
- Sorry to hear that.
- Who's Drizla?
- Drizla is the amazing beauty over there. Lumbering, hardy, and cunning with a voice that could inspire even the quietest of beasts to howl.
- What have you done to try to win her affection? (Same as "Your plan didn't work?")
- What are you offering?
- She sounds charming, but I really should be going.
- During Repel the hostile ogres trying to destroy Degun Shun's animal pen
- Find cover if you value your life. Enemies are attacking the village.
- Pride heals faster than broken bones.
- Just keep telling yourself that.
Show some pride. You're the chief. Fight for your people.
- I'll take my chances, thanks.
- During Harvest earth elemental lodestones for Seegor's brew
- I don't know how I'm going to get enough lodestones. I'm only one ogre.
- I have lodestones. Take them.
- Why do you need lodestones?
- Don't tell Max. He's sensitive about his size. I have a recipe for a brew to make him big and strong. The lodestones are the key ingredient. We want to impress Drizla.
- I appreciate the encouragement. I need to convince Drizla of it.
- Why is Drizla so special? (Same as "Who's Drizla?")
- That's a good point. I'll lend a hand.
- Thanks. That's nice of you.
- No problem.
- That was awkward.
Your pet is fine the way he is. He's almost handsome.
- Who's Drizla?
- Drizla lives in our village. She's perfect. Beautiful and brawny, she has horns the color of baked mud. Her smell is unlike any other, complex like an old dairy farm under the midday sun.
- What would you know. You barely smell worse than a warthog. Not to mention your face. It's just...weak. No ogre would show interest in someone like you.
- Fine[sic] I'll help you, but it's only because you're too weak to do it yourself.
- Thanks...I think.
- Sure.
- I don't have to listen to this,[sic] I'm out of here.
That's disgusting. What's wrong with you?
- Smells like love to me. I'd be happy to help.
- Thanks. That's nice of you.
- No problem.
- Gross! I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot[sic] pole.
- Always happy to help someone in need.
- Thanks. That's nice of you.
- No problem.
- You have to work this out on your own.
- I don't have any right now, sorry.
- During Clear the oasis so Rupek and Porgar can gather water
- Where's that water? Rupek and Porgar must be slacking off again. Oh, my poor Drizla.
- Who are Rupek and Porgar?
- Rupek and Porgar are responsible for keeping the water troughs filled. They [sic] unreliable. I have to push them to do their jobs.
- I'll go see what they're up to.
- You mentioned someone named Drizla. Who is that? to "Who is Drizla?"
- I should be going.
- Who is Drizla?
- Drizla is the most beautiful creature in the village. She's perfect in every way. She has a scalp the color of meat roasting on the spit and a mind sharp as a spear. But, look at me. I can't even keep water in the troughs, much less attract a mate like that.
- I see. What about those other two, Rupek and Porgar? to "Who are Rupek and Porgar?"
- I'll leave you to your thoughts.
- I'm a little thirsty myself, please excuse me.
Notes[edit]
- Any event-based dialogue will override Seegor's merchant behavior, preventing players from buying from him.
