Dialogue[edit]
- Before Escape from Lion's Arch
- Welcome to Lion's Arch. I'm Captain Peter the Lost. Care to hear how I got that name? It's a colorful story of swashbuckling and derring-do, straight from a member of the Captain's Council.
- You got lost? Not a great captain then. (Same as "You must think I'm a simpleton.")
- Love to. Your voice is so soothing. (Same as "I had a magic ship-the "Capricorn."")
- You must think I'm a simpleton. My story has a lot more fun than that. How about a bit of Lion's Arch history?
- Sure, you talked me into it.
- I had a magic ship-the "Capricorn." Be it tidal waves, storms, or cannon fire, nothing could breach that hull. She sailed under her own power, barely needed a crew.
- What happened to this marvelous ship?
- I lost her. The sea witch, Covington, commandeered her. Put me and my crew off and laughed about it. Who's laughing now, though, right?
- What do you mean?
- Covington took the ship, but she's never figured out how to tell it to weigh anchor. So now it sails and sails and never stops.
- Hilarious. Where is it now?
- Covington had to abandon her. Now the "Capricorn" sails on forever, a ghost of a ship with no crew and no captain. Any who catch up to her and try to board...tend to disappear.
- So you had the last laugh.
- I did. I may've lost my ship to pirates, but I also made sure they couldn't keep it. And I showed everyone it takes a true captain to helm Peter the Lost's vessel!
- Thanks for the story, captain.
- A fine story. Thanks, captain.
- I've heard enough. Thanks.
- I've heard enough. Thanks.
- I've heard enough. Thanks.
- No deal, Captain "the Lost.
Please. It may inspire me to succeed as you have. (Same as "I had a magic ship-the "Capricorn."")
- Not right now.
- During Dragon Bash
- Oh, I didn't see you there. It's been hectic around here, getting Dragon Bash ready. Hopefully you'll enjoy the Dragon Bash coffers that'll be handed out.
- What are the coffers?
- You'll get them after doing Dragon Bash-related activities. There's some neat stuff inside, like candies, recipes, tonics, and more. I think they'll be a big hit with the crowd.
- I didn't catch your name.
- I'm Peter the Lost, Ship's Captain of Lion's Arch. Go ahead, ask about the name. Everyone does.
- I'll bite. Tell me about your name.
- Way back when, I had a ship—the "Capricorn"—stolen from me by another pirate, name of Covington. The joke's on her. The ship was magic, you see. And Covington never learned how to sail her.
- What happened to the ship?
- She had to abandon it. Now no one sails the "Capricorn." She's adrift at sea, possibly forever.
- Shame. Sounds like a good ship.
- Too bad.
- Never mind.
- Looking forward to them.
- Looking forward to them.
