Branthyn is a sylvari member of Vigil and acts as liaison to the Pale Tree when Risen assault Overlake Haven along with Iowerth from the Durmand Priory and Cai from the Order of Whispers. After Mazdak the Accursed is revealed to be leading the Risen assaults, she offers the Herald of the Pale Tree options to investigate the loss and retrieval of Caladbolg to bring down Mazdak.

She enjoys honest battle and has a straightforward approach to warfare; she disapproves of Cai and Iowerth for creating overly complicated tactics and putting innocent lives at risk.
