I'm livid! I was reworking a diagram of the nerve cables of my new golem design when the lead of the krewe I've been trying to get into for weeks came up and offered me a position, then revoked it.

Why?

Because he thought I was my cog-stealing, two-timing twin brother. My brother always does this! He waits for me to fail at something, and then goes and succeeds at it himself just to rub it in my face.

Maybe he really wanted to join that krewe.

I doubt it. He'll probably refuse their offer. He just wanted me to see that he could get in when I couldn't.

I know I wouldn't want to work with him.

How incredibly rude.
