Dialogue[edit]
Broken Chair[edit]
- With some metal to reinforce it, this chair could become a shield.
- If the player is not holding anything:
- Take it.
- Leave it.
- If the player is holding Metal Scraps:
- Make a shield using the chair and scrap metal.
- Leave it.
- If the player is holding something other than Metal Scraps:
- Take it, and drop what you're currently holding.
- These pieces don't look useful for a makeshift weapon.
Metal Scraps[edit]
- These scraps could be used to reinforce another object and form a makeshift shield.
- If the player is not holding anything:
- Take them.
- Leave it.
- If the player is holding a Broken Chair:
- Attach the metal to the chair and make a shield.
- Leave it.
- If the player is holding something other than a Broken Chair:
- Take it, and drop what you're currently holding.
- These pieces don't look useful for a makeshift weapon.
Notes[edit]
- Constructing a makeshift shield grants three charges of this effect.
- One charge is removed when using Block. to block the Militia Member in the training area. Blocking the attacks of regular enemies doesn't remove a charge.
- Giving the shield to an Unarmed Villager or interacting with a Weapon Crate will remove this effect completely.
- While the effect is active, your're wielding a weapon with the Improvised Shield Skin.
- Interacting with a Weapon Crate while holding the completed makeshift weapon will earn credit towards the Up in Arms achievement (one for each of the three different weapon types) and the Junkyard Weaponsmith achievement.
