Welcome[edit]
Hello there, welcome to the guild wars 2 wiki!
It'd be great if you could use the "show preview" to check your edits before submitting them as this will help reduce the number of times that your page appears in Special:RecentChanges ^^. Evidently if you need any help with formatting, just ask someone (even if you post here on your talk page I'm sure somebody will notice). -Chieftain Alex 14:05, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks ^^ Sorry about the edits, I will take a look at Preview. Zuphixavex (talk) 14:11, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
- No worries. I hope you find something here to be useful! -Chieftain Alex 14:18, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
- I've been lurking since release and used to contribute to GWW, it's hard for me to find something that's not useful :D Zuphixavex (talk) 14:22, 1 May 2014 (UTC)

Attribute[edit]
I'm not quite sure what you were intending to do with your edit on that page. Your summary stated you were removing the "Attack" attribute, but I had already removed that back in April. It looks like you might have been editing an old version of the page from before April 15. —Dr Ishmael 13:14, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
- I think I found it: this diff against January 30, 2013, shows the only change being removal of "Attack (statistic)".
- In the future, be careful when reviewing old revisions of pages, because when you click the "edit" tab, you are editing that old revision, not the current one. —Dr Ishmael 13:19, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
- Ah, thank you. I had been linked to that page from someone using it as a source for an argument, I simply told him that it was not used for anything and thought that it shouldn't even be on the wiki page any more. How would I check if it was an old page in future? Zuphixavex (talk) 16:32, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
- When you're viewing an old revision, there will be some lines just below the page title that say "Revision as of <date> by <editor>" and then links to the next older/newer revisions.
- I'm guilty of doing the same thing, and it got so bad at one point that I wrote a bit of JavaScript in User:Dr ishmael/monobook.js to hide the edit tab when I'm viewing an old revision. You can add it to your own User:Zuphixavex/monobook.js, if you want:
if (window.location.href.indexOf('oldid=') >= 0) { document.getElementById('ca-edit').style.display = 'none'; }
