item infoboxes

Hey, could you leave out the bit that I removed here in the item infoboxes on pages you create? The way you have it there, it's not doing anything, and I'm not sure why these pages would need a JPG screenshot in any case. —Dr Ishmael 01:47, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

yeah sorry, I'm new at this. Still not 100% sure how to do things. I was putting it like that before I realized i could add the image after I made it too

No worries - we've gotten a ton of new editors with HoT, and we're thankful for every one of you!

I'll clarify this situation a bit for you, though. We prefer icons to be in PNG format, which is what infoboxes for items/skills/traits look for by default (icons get reused elsewhere on the wiki in different sizes, and PNG is more suited for resizing). We use JPG for screenshots, which the infoboxes for NPCs/objects/locations default to. Infoboxes for weapons and armor use both an icon and a screenshot, since those items can actually be seen in-game (most other items can't so no screenshot is needed).
