marking pages/files for deletion can take a long time. instead, you can use speedy delete: {{delete|Speedy deletion reason|speedy}} for reason I just type in I1 or U1 full list of codes. The statement I remember best went something like: "Because tagging things for deletion shouldn't require a reference guide." The section about deletion in the P&P gives a basic guideline for speedy deletions - basically, if it is an obviously unneeded page (vandalism/spam, a move remnant that is not a useful redirect, your own userpages, etc.), you can mark it as speedy. If it's not obviously unnecessary, then it doesn't qualify for speedy. —Dr Ishmael 01:55, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

I was just saying that if he was going to add a reason, it would be faster to just use a code than type the whole thing out since most user images are taken down for U1 or I1.
