Hey there. I just moved the image you uploaded to File:User Onoros Gw172.jpg, as is custom for images uploaded for users' personal use (File:User username filename.jpg). :) Mediggo 08:26, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- I don't have the faintest idea if you are warned by any message I post in reply to yours, so I posted on your userpage. I'll do the same here, just in case: Hey, I was actually going to use that image for a talk page I'm writing on. Does that still counts as personal use? I was trying to desperately find a way to delete it though, as I should have renamed it to something more descriptive. Onoros 08:38, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- If it's not mainspace article content or work-in-progress article content, it's probably a good idea to leave it under your username. And if the image is under your username, it doesn't really matter that much if the filename isn't that descriptive, especially if it's only going to be used once in a discussion, or on your own userspace, for example. If you still want to rename it, you can rename it by moving it to another name by clicking move on top of (almost) any page. Then you get to specify a new filename for the image. - Oh, right. Thanks for the tip. I have little experience with wikis and I was looking at the help page thinking with the wrong terminology, it seems. Onoros 08:55, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- Don't be afraid to ask anyone, especially the helpers, or try stuff out until you get it right or somebody tells you how to do it. :) Anything that can be edited here can be fixed pretty easily in case anything goes wrong. Mediggo 09:05, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'll be sure to do that! Onoros 09:11, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
