I've just had a look in the API, and you can still pull at least one of the old maps for Lion's Arch (floor 43). Also yes: Claw Island has borders (WIP). -Chieftain Alex 20:46, 13 June 2016 (UTC)
- Claw island done, sadly no* boundaries for Lion's Arch because the one I was thinking of is only a story instance (716, claw island) (* no boundaries = this, which has boundaries but only the story ones.) -Chieftain Alex 21:21, 13 June 2016 (UTC)
- The regular dungeon maps can also be assigned boundaries, sadly Victory or Death only has "Nave of Arah" and "The Vault of Holiness", but it does have the final waypoint location for the glory of tyria WP... so no borders for VoD. -Chieftain Alex 22:47, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
- I find it odd that it would have a border for The Vault of Holiness when that's not even seen in that story instance. Since the other areas are on a different layer, perhaps those borders are elsewhere in the API? Either way, unless they changed how that map worked then one can just take a new character and find the borders via unfogging one area at a time. Konig 22:50, 14 June 2016 (UTC)

- Okay i checked again. Victory or Death (available floors are 1, 10 and 11), region 3: floor 1 (nothing), floor 10 (Nave and vault) and floor 11 (the others). I didn't save the script I used to pull floor 10 earlier, but floor 11 should have what we need. edit: 11 (didn't turn on markers) gallery -Chieftain Alex 23:27, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
- Yup, that looks like what we're wanting, however, CM and HotW have four levels, and TA has two so there'd be different border placement each, I believe (TA also has the two maps as you noted, making four versions total). Konig 23:46, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
- CM: Mansion (Upper Floor) (api floor 5), Mansion (Ground Floor) (4) and Mansion (Basement) (-4) all have the same coordinate boundaries. The maps will look different (different tiles), but probably have the same borders. -Chieftain Alex 06:31, 15 June 2016 (UTC)

Tower of Nigtmares[edit]
So, on a hunch, I was poking around to see if the German Wiki had any images of historical NPCs, and found this: de:Datei:Turm der Albträume Karte.jpg. I have no idea if has stuff on their that you were looking for, but it is a larger version a bit, and I can fix it to be in English and have whatever you don't want in there gone. - Doodleplex 20:41, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- That has far more than I want - too much, in fact, as those hearts and those circles and those vendors, gah! If we're gonna be photoshoping edits, I'd rather see what the base dat image looks like - because then we'd just need to add names, waypoint, and gold swirls (the only thing that map has other than size that I'm wanting). But basically, the main thing I hope to get is borders for the areas, which I think Alex may be able to get if it still resides in the API? I dunno. Konig 01:37, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
