Feedback about Dragon Bash. I will like critique the most minor of aspects.

General[edit]

  • Ellen Kiel's dialogue for entry doesn't have an end dialogue for some of the achievements. The fact she uses the "Stage is closed" response for all the achievements will throw people off. We should be able to revisit previous missions like with Flame and Frost.
  • Using achievements to track Dragon Bash story when you already have a Special Event UI tracking the Dragon Bash release is dumb. Turn it into the same track as personal storyline, it's going to be temporary anyways. You can even replace the pseudo-events used for the mission instances with the special event UI.

Dragon Piñata[edit]

Positive[edit]

  • The dragons flying out in place of confetti was a fantastic touch and players will appreciate that detail.
  • The dragons themselves feature a color palette and adorableness, unlike previous special event objects.

Negative[edit]

    • Does not use ñ for some reason.
    • [Fixed] Players can interact and cancel the interaction, the piñata will destroy itself when the activation would finish normally.
    • The ability to cancel the action is probably the reason for the glitch, where two players interacting at the same time causes the object to glitch and not return candy.
    • A bundle seems to be equipped during the interaction, similar to harvesting tools. There's no reason we should see the drop bundle action take place if you want to do that.
    • The piñatas are located close together in the open pretty much along the path traveled by players. Although this is the same activity as Carving Pumpkins, it takes any out possible fun you can derive from searching for the piñatas.

Fireworks Launcher[edit]

Positive[edit]

  • The object itself is fun, shooting a firework is always entertaining.

Negative[edit]

  • Because it had to be associated with an activity, making it single-use makes it completely useless for entertainment. Imagine if people shoot many projections of the Shatterer with them or simply autofire them to create a constant fireworks display.
  • Most of the launchers are located over cliffs and water, but mostly out of the way of players, unlike piñatas.

Dragon Ball[edit]

Positive[edit]

  • The Quake-style arena is quite fun and appeals to the core gamer.
  • I love the assets carried from Super Adventure Box. The bounce pads and introduction of zip pads give verticality to the arena.
  • The control of the powerups makes teamwork imperative and most give visible benefits and tactics to playing.

Negative[edit]

  • The reward fucking sucks, the Dragon Coffer can get a Piece of Zhaitaffy, making it worthwwile to just lose instead of win half the time. Considering a normal match lasts about 5 minutes, most players can get 10 or more coffers in the same time it takes to get one coffer for victory. Victory isn't guaranteed 80% of the time due to fucked up balancing either.
  • Team are only autobalanced at the start.
  • Players are free to leave without penalty.
  • AFK players are not removed from the game if they haven't moved an entire match. This makes no sense when anti-AFK measures move the players out of the base. This only makes the side with the AFK player extremely likely to lose. With the autobalancing, this can literally switch the tide of the match each round.
  • This makes it impossible to keep teams balanced after the first or second match, if they were evenly matched in the first place.

Moa Racing[edit]

Negative[edit]

  • Why the hell did this get embedded in a meta event? Don't use the meta event UI for activities. At least differ like it done with dungeons.
  • [Fixed] The races are set in patterns rather than being completely random. There is patterns that can be predicted by players to fix the games.
  • The waypoints are disabled during the race for no reason. This makes no sense and I'm guessing because events deactivate when you move out of their range.
  • This also goes canceling the bet if you move too far away.
  • This also goes for logging out or losing connection. Because you are using events, the bet gets cancelled. My brother lost 2 gold due to connection problems, he was pretty pissed off.
  • The house advantage is overwhelmingly large at 12% profit. You can make it a goldsink at much less.
