Template talk:Daily achievements
Adding current date and time?[edit]
I have been wondering if it would be good to add the current date and time (like "Sunday, 22 December 2024" that was used before) just for reference, then it would be clearer if the contents are up-to-date or if the page needs to have cache purged. I have caught myself wondering for several times if the table was showing the correct items. Maybe something like this along the purge link?
The achievements above are for Sunday, 22 December 2024. Click here to purge the server cache, this forces the server to update the contents.
The part about purging cache could be worded like before:
If the date does not match the current UTC date, click here to purge the wiki's cache of this page.
but maybe the purge template can be kept as it is. What everyone thinks about that? --Txon Atana - (talk) 23:18, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- Oh, I just wanted to thank whoever added it :) It looks better now. --Txon Atana - (talk) 00:07, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
More granular tables via parameters?[edit]
Why not allow parameters to the daily achievement templates and widgets? so that if desired, one may extract merely, for instance, PVE without PVP and WVW. Which BTW, the latter are always the same everyday. -- Shena'Fu (talk) 09:26, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- Added functionality. As an example,
{{Daily achievements|category=pve,fractals|level=80|tier=4}}

Display level range in separate column[edit]
The greyed out text only indicates dailies under 80 and conveys no information regarding minimum level required to access the daily. I'm also aware that level range is available on mouseover, but I think the table could do with a third column for minmax level range. Some readers may not be aware there's extra data in the wiki tooltip, or some players may be leveling at a slower pace. Surely we can squeeze in a level range column? --BryghtShadow (talk) 10:18, 29 November 2019 (UTC)
- I agree. Information shouldn't be hidden in a tooltip. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 11:27, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
